Costco is unveiling a diverse array of new items this week, and one particular release has sparked a heated online debate. It’s easy to understand why. If you’d asked me to guess Costco’s next deli addition, I would have been completely off the mark. Here’s a look at what Costco has lined up for us this week.
Huel Black Chocolate Meal Replacement Drink
I’m a devoted follower of the Huel lineup. I’ll admit I’m not exactly a whiz in the kitchen and I often skip lengthy cooking in favor of convenience. Huel’s meal replacement drinks aren’t going to replace a top-tier burger, but they do satisfy hunger on days when that’s all you need. Costco now stocks Huel’s ready-to-drink, high-protein shake in a chocolate flavor. I’m partial to their salted caramel, but the chocolate option is a solid addition to the roster.
Kraft Mac & Cheese PowerMac
Protein is infiltrating more and more snacks, even nostalgia-inspiring ones! Kraft has fortified these noodles with added protein and fiber. The cheese sauce can help keep the taste close to the original, a factor many fans appreciate. In Costco’s package, you’ll receive eight boxes of PowerMac per carton, unlike the standard 18-count seen in the regular version. This might look like a downgrade, but let’s be honest—the wholesale club shopping experience can be a gamble, so the smaller quantity gives you a risk-free chance to try it before committing long-term.
Lay’s Fifa World Cup 26 Variety Pack
Credit where it’s due to Lay’s, FIFA, and Costco for making World Cup viewing parties incredibly convenient. This variety pack ensures everyone gets their own snack bag. Inside you’ll find the three World Cup exclusives—French onion soup, Argentinian-style steak with chimichurri, and Brazilian-style garlic sauce—alongside a selection of classic Lay’s for guests who enjoy the familiar. Our tester Jordan Myrick reviewed them on Instagram and reported strong impressions for two of the exclusives, with one leaving a mixed impression (no spoilers)!
Kirkland Signature Shrimp Ceviche
I get the hesitation surrounding ceviche from a grocery shelf. Yet Costco is a brand that tends to earn consumer trust when it comes to quality. If they didn’t believe they could do it justice, they wouldn’t offer it at all. The online chatter on this item runs in both directions, but I’m simply here to relay the news. You can decide for yourself what you think about it.
JonnyPops Dairy-Free Flag Pops
quintessentially summery in every bite. With the Fourth of July still a bit away, you can grab these at Costco now so you’re ready when the moment arrives. Each popsicle carries the classic rocket-pop flavors you’d expect: blue raspberry, cherry, and lemon. The rocket-pop trend has resurfaced in recent years, and I still can’t get enough. This dairy-free option is a welcome addition to the already long lineup!
