Aldi paused in June to return with renewed energy in July. A sizeable slate of new offerings is on the way. In fact, there are so many that narrowing the list for this quick preview proved quite challenging. We’ll have a deeper dive later, but for now, here are the six items we’re most eager to snag at Aldi this July.
Sundae Shoppe’s Summer Sorbet Pints ($3.79; 7/1)
To help beat the heat, Aldi is rolling out a complete sorbet lineup this month. You can snag a pint in watermelon lime, passionberry, or limoncello-strawberry sorbet for just $3.79. You’d be lucky to get a single scoop at the same price at most ice cream shops.
ALDI Dill Pickle–Seasoned French Fries ($3.49; 7/8)
The classic combo of pickle and fries finally gets a flavor upgrade. Aldi’s dill pickle-seasoned fries should pair well with virtually any meal you’re assembling—whether topping a burger, alongside chicken nuggets, or tucked into a burrito.
ALDI Smoothie Protein Bowls ($6.59; 7/15)
Two new smoothie bowls debut this month. You can pick between banana paired with almond butter or acai paired with peanut butter. Each option includes mix-ins such as blueberries and granola or strawberries, granola, and dark chocolate. The acai option sounds more adventurous, but it carries a drawback—six grams of protein, compared with ten for the banana version.
Benton’s Orange Cremesicle Sandwich Cookies ($2.99; 7/15)
The creamsicle flavor is timeless, and Aldi’s forthcoming sandwich cookies will reinforce that trend. The cookies are filled with cream and make for an ideal picnic treat when you crave that classic flavor without the mess of a dripping popsicle. A small dilemma resolved by Aldi.
Sundae Shoppe Strawberries & Cream Rose Cones ($3.99; 7/22)
If these land well, they could go viral. The Sundae Shoppe line introduces rose-shaped cones in strawberries and cream. The frozen dessert is fashioned to resemble rose petals and is presented in a cocoa-flavored waffle cone. The notable surprise is that they didn’t debut earlier around Valentine’s Day.
ALDI PB&J Bites ($5.99; 7/29)
I’m continually impressed by Aldi’s imaginative offerings. These PB&J Bites are peanut-butter-flavored rice snacks stuffed with grape filling—little bite-sized PB&J sandwiches. The only improvement would be if they used real bread, which isn’t feasible here, so I’ll settle for these as they are.
