Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete
The pros
  • Ultra-extendable mop that truly works, not just a marketing line
  • Powerful and precise suction on both hard floors and carpets
  • Smooth navigation and reliable mapping from the first pass
  • Ultra-fast recharge, ideal for large spaces
  • Spare accessory kit included in the box
The cons
  • Robot arm noise fairly noticeable with every extension
  • Baseboard brush more of a novelty than a necessity
  • Stains that are deeply ingrained can be hard to remove completely

The X60 Pro Ultra Complete is the brand’s new flagship, but also a family of devices designed for home cleaning. In fact, it is offered in a Pro Master version, with a wash station that connects to the house’s running water, and a Pro Ultra Matrix featuring three sets of mop heads to cover every corner of the house.

For my part, I received the “standard” model with the X60 Pro Ultra Complete. The quotation marks matter here, because this baby is priced at €1,499 on the manufacturer’s official site and through various retailers. For this price, Dreame introduces a real novelty with its new extendable mop system. Consider: nearly 18 cm of reach to collect dust under furniture, in corners, and in areas inaccessible to other devices. A gadget or a genuine improvement to house cleaning? That is exactly what this test investigates after almost a month of use.

The robot vacuum, still disk-shaped, is equipped with a retractable LiDAR sensor, which gives it a height of 8.9 cm. That is slightly higher than the latest Roborock models, but ample to pass under tall furniture or under beds.

Its real specialty lies with the mop system. Impossible to miss the gigantic motorized arm, which offers the base a 18 cm reach to reach corners. Dreame includes in the box a brush to attach to this arm so you can run a pass along baseboards during cleaning, a feature unseen on a robot vacuum. The side brush also contributes, widening by 12 cm to sweep dust from those same zones. The dual main brushes complete the recycling of debris, with a proven anti-tangle system across the brand’s robot vacuums.

Suction: a monster of efficiency, comfortable on all terrains

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete houses a 42,000 Pa motor, a figure that places it among the most powerful devices of its generation—yet this is only proven in real-world use. I launched the device after its initial mapping phase on my home floor, which had gone untouched for several days in anticipation. And the results spoke for themselves.

The new Dreame robot vacuum is the kind of model that earns its keep. During its inaugural pass, it picked up dust, crumbs, and pet hair with remarkable ease, and without raising its voice. In Clean Genius mode (the AI mode that analyzes the floor to decide the power level), the X60 Pro Ultra Complete only had to roar its motor near the dog’s basket or in a couple of slightly messier spots in the kitchen. On carpets too, the X60 performs excellently, showing particularly precise suction with a slower, more deliberate pass.

The side brush is another welcome addition for gathering dust in corners or near chair legs—zones that most robots still neglect. In my tests, the Dreame managed to slip into tight gaps between a cupboard and a sofa, and collect every bit of dust and hair under the dining table. The X60 Pro Ultra Complete covers more ground per pass than rivals, reducing the need to grab a broom for touch-ups.

The vacuum offers four manual power levels, but Clean Genius can handle 99% of situations automatically. The X60 Pro Ultra Complete even includes a blue LED lamp to help identify debris on the floor for higher efficiency.

A brief note on cleaning baseboards with the dedicated brush. Beyond needing to attach the brush for each wash (Dreame recommends not leaving the accessory attached to the vacuum indefinitely), its effectiveness is somewhat limited. Yes, the brush removes the bulk of the dust, but it doesn’t do fine detailing, and you’ll still need to wipe with a cloth for optimal results. In practice, the brush is more of a gadget you’ll use occasionally, and many will quickly forget about it.

Lavage des sols: a mop that moves more and fits almost anywhere in the home

This is where the X60 Pro Ultra Complete truly shines: floor washing, propelled by the UltraExtend mop arm. This robotic arm uses a double joint to extend as far as possible. It first unfolds similarly to a conventional robot, while the second joint allows it to detach completely from the body to reach into corners.

In practice, this mechanism is far from a marketing gimmick and proves to be quite effective. In my setup, the mop can now reach the bottom of the sideboard, the corners of rooms, and completely clean beneath my desk or along the shoe rack—something most robots still miss.

However, this mechanical feat has a noise cost. You’ll hear the motor whenever the robotic arm extends. It’s not a deal-breaker if you keep the robot vacuuming with the lid closed, but the repetitive sound can become tiresome if you’re nearby.

Regarding the washing itself, it is generally very good. Light marks are cleared with a single pass by the robot. A detergent solution is provided to give floors a fresh touch and it fits into the dedicated reservoir. For more stubborn stains like dried soda or coffee, the X60 Pro Ultra Complete is equally effective, with several passes over the dirtier zones to take care of them. After three weeks of use, I had no major complaints beyond some strongly ingrained sauce stains which the X60 Pro Ultra Complete could not tackle alone; a follow-up pass was necessary.

The two rotating mop heads lift up to 21.5 mm when the vacuum passes over a carpet (using the two mechanical arms that clear thresholds) to avoid dampening the carpet. Sometimes the system still misses a beat, and the robot ended up washing my long-haired rug for a few minutes, but since the latest update, no more issues on the horizon. Conversely, the main brushes can also lift during a single floor wash to avoid contact with liquids.

A quick note on baseboard cleaning with the dedicated brush. Beyond needing to attach the brush for each wash (Dreame recommends not leaving the accessory attached to the vacuum permanently), its effectiveness is somewhat limited. Yes, the brush removes most of the dust, but it doesn’t do fine detailing, and you’ll still need to wipe with a cloth for an optimal result. Practically, the brush is more of a gadget you’ll use sparingly, though many may forget about it quickly.

Navigation: a system that keeps getting better

The X60 Pro Ultra Complete’s mapping system is excellent, automatically recognizing rooms—even open ones—needing only minor tweaks afterward to tailor the map to the home’s real layout. In my experience, my interior is fairly square and uncluttered, and the X60 Pro Ultra Complete needed only one pass to draw an accurate map, with no forgotten zones or irregularly cut rooms. Movements are precise and smooth. The vacuum always knows where it’s going: never abrupt near furniture, never sloppy when skimming objects.

The mapping system is excellent, with automatic identification of rooms, even open ones, requiring little adjustments afterward to fit the home layout. Movements are precise and fluid. The vacuum knows where it’s going: never abrupt near furniture, never imprecise when approaching objects.

For thresholds, Dreame’s ProLeap system returns, with crossing thresholds up to 10 cm for combined thresholds and 5 cm for simple thresholds. There remains one last obstacle the X60 won’t cross: stairs. That battle will be handled by the CyberX in September.

Autonomy and maintenance: ultra-fast charging for the most spacious homes

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete includes a discreet but highly useful feature: fast charging at 11A, delivering about 24% battery recovery in just 5 minutes. I verified this via the mobile app, which shows battery level down to the tenth, recovering a percent in under ten seconds. A full recharge takes roughly two hours, and the robot can handle very large areas in a short window.

The docking station also offers a wash of mop heads in boiling water (100°C) and a three-hour drying cycle. I’ll reiterate that you should, at least once a month, wash the mop heads by hand or in a machine, but the station is sufficient for daily effective cleaning and removes sauce residues from the fur on the wheels.

Dreame also takes care of the included accessories and offers a substantial set of spare parts, with a dust bag, a set of mop heads, and a main brush in the box—a nice touch when purchasing a high-priced robot vacuum.

Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete: Clubic’s verdict

Conclusion
Overall score
9 / 10

The Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete confirms the brand’s mastery in premium robotic vacuums. The ultra-extendable mop isn’t just a marketing gimmick—it genuinely changes floor cleaning by reaching places competitors often overlook. Suction matches the announced 42,000 Pa, navigation is precise, and the ultra-fast recharge greatly eases maintenance for large homes.

The noise from the robotic arm during extension remains the only notable downside, especially if you’re nearby during cleaning. The baseboard brush is more of a novelty than a necessity, and particularly embedded stains may require a manual assist. Nothing here undermines the overall performance, but it’s worth knowing before buying.

At €1,499, the X60 Pro Ultra Complete sits firmly in the high-end tier, but the inclusion of genuinely useful daily features justifies the price. Dreame once again demonstrates that a strong spec sheet isn’t enough by itself: everything has to perform well in real-world use—and it does here.
