I suppose you experience this too, but there are times when I feel the urge to disconnect. And then, almost like magic, the thought of getting lost on the mountain trails fills my mind, as the air grows cooler and purer. Over time I have learned that this sensation is truly savored only when body and ground move in sync… and that starts with the feet. When I lace up a good pair of Salomon shoes, I notice the path adapts to me: each step feels solid, every rock ceases to be an obstacle and each incline becomes an invitation to keep climbing. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a quiet stroll through forests or a demanding trail-running route; the feeling of control, lightness, and protection is there.
