Returning to running after a holiday isn’t always easy. It’s hard to regain your rhythm, it’s more tempting than ever to skip a session (especially with the heat that sticks around until the evening), and getting your body used to adding kilometers again can be tougher than we expect. But there is one detail that can make a noticeable difference from the very first training: wearing comfortable sneakers, with good support and cushioning suited to your running style. If the shoes you have logged too many miles, the sole is worn, or you no longer feel the same comfort, perhaps it’s time to replace them.
