Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies-Inspired Chocolate Bar
Pros: Little Debbie handed the Compartés crew a nod to their famed rainbow-streaked, candy-coated chocolate chips. The chips make a visible splash across the top, so they pop when you remove the bar from its wrapper. The dark chocolate base contributes a rich depth that aims to echo the Cosmic Brownie flavor profile.
Cons: Shocking as it may seem, this chocolate-forward treat ends up tasting primarily like chocolate itself. I’m guilty of overestimating what the food scientists could conjure. While the experience is pleasant, aside from the colorful chips, the bar doesn’t scream “Cosmic Brownie” to me.
Little Debbie Honey Buns-Inspired Chocolate Bar
Pros: Honey Buns are among my favorite Little Debbie snacks, and I’m happily an advocate for white chocolate—this one’s for me. Cracking open the wrapper to reveal white chocolate on the opposite face was a playful delight. The flavor holds up nicely in line with expectations, and you can actually perceive the honey glaze within the chocolate bar.
Cons: The obvious caveat is that this is white chocolate. If white chocolate isn’t your thing, you might want to pass. If you enjoy playful twists, though, you’re in for a real treat.
