One can regard Find X10 Pro Max as the spiritual successor to the Find X9 Pro. On the way, the manufacturer introduces the suffix “Pro Max,” reminiscent of a certain Californian automaker. The likeness doesn’t end there: with its translucencies and luminous reflections, the ColorOS 17 interface carries a small whiff of Liquid Glass. Pure coincidence, most likely.
The differences lie primarily in the electronics, especially in the camera department. The newcomer is thus the first smartphone to feature three rear modules housing 200 MP sensors co-developed with Hasselblad. On paper, that’s impressive, and OPPO promises wonders.
Available in France starting October 21 in titanium gray and moon white, in a single configuration of 12/512 GB, it is priced at €1,799, while the Find X10 “standard” goes for €1,299. Does a megapixel stack really matter when facing market leaders like Samsung and Apple? To find out, we spent five weeks testing it.
