Beloved Cold Brew Brand Unveils New Espresso – Our Take

Bizzy Coffee has built its reputation around its cold brew lineup. Their drinks are easily found in grocery aisles and every product is organic. While the brand’s marketing and visual identity are outstanding in their own right, their cold brews don’t disappoint either. The flavor is bold yet smooth and easy to sip. And it’s not just us who are fans: Reddit communities often defend Bizzy’s cold brews as among the top store-bought options on the market today. All of that set, when Bizzy reached out to make sure we knew about their latest lineup, we listened.

The latest drop is a line of refrigerated, ready-to-drink Double Espresso shots. They come in three roasts—a dark roast, a medium roast, and a blonde roast—and each 2-ounce bottle delivers 100mg of caffeine. We were eager to sample them, and now that we’ve tasted, here’s our take.

Our Official Sporked Review

All three brews shine in their own right for different reasons. Coffee roast preference really comes down to personal taste. What I’m leaning toward as I write this review may differ from what you’d enjoy. Still, there seems to be something for everyone in this release, provided you need caffeine and enjoy coffee flavor.

The dark, medium, and blonde roasts each deliver a flavor profile that fits their names quite well. The blonde roast comes across brighter and more acidic, with less bitterness. The dark roast offers the polar opposite—rich, robust, and deep with chocolatey, stout-like notes. The medium roast strikes a balance, capturing elements of both bright, fruity notes and the nutty, richer tones.

They’re organic and produced with sustainability in mind, packaged in recycled materials, making them a mindful choice for consumers. Yet that doesn’t compromise the espresso’s quality or execution. Beyond distinct flavors, these are designed as a simple solution for situations where you don’t have time to brew a cup or pull a shot. It’s a convenient morning caffeine hack, and we’re into it.

Although the flavor and caffeine content are quite potent, we still recommend starting with small amounts of milk and sugar, as the end result may not map exactly to a shot pulled from fresh beans. In the end, the effects and flavor can align with your usual coffee, provided you tweak your ratios a bit. Even though these are premade, they aren’t weak, watery, chemically, or lacking in quality—their taste won’t resemble the plastic notes sometimes found in refrigerated premade coffees.

All in all, we’re glad to have several of these on hand, because we’d likely sprint to the store to stock up if we didn’t. They’re shaping up to be our new go-to for on-the-go mornings, and we invite fellow Bizzy fans (and those seeking something new) to try this release for themselves.
