New C4 Energy Flavor!
Pros: Even though it contains no artificial coloring, this C4 Hawaiian Punch beverage clearly comes off with a blue hue—a crucial trait for a drink aiming to mimic a classic fruit juice profile. The label portrays a kiwi-blueberry blend for Hawaiian Punch Berry Blue Typhoon; I value that unusual combination in a crowded energy-drink field. (Do we really need more root beer-flavored energy drinks? I’d argue we already have plenty.)
With 200 milligrams of caffeine per can, the caffeine level sits a tad above the typical Monster Energy and matches a 12-ounce can of Alani Nu. Whether you’ve followed Hawaiian Punch nostalgia since childhood or not, this is worth trying if you enjoy the color “blue” in a flavor.
Cons: Drinking it made me realize I don’t recall the original Hawaiian Punch flavors well enough to spark peak nostalgia. Have I ever actually tasted Hawaiian Punch Berry Blue Typhoon? I can’t say. (If you want me to rank every Hawaiian Punch flavor, drop a comment before my doctor tells me to stop.) This is a solid energy drink, but the branding doesn’t add anything extra to the experience for me personally.
