Pros: I’m not a huge mango fan, but the passion fruit component does a nice job of elevating that often overused fruit into a crisp, refreshing space. This is a solid take on tropical fruit flavors in a sports drink.

Cons: On what planet would we reduce flavors that scream America to mango and passion fruit? This feels like Gatorade had a strong base formula just waiting to be used for something. If only there existed a trio of red, white, and blue fruit flavors that could align with both the bottle’s design and the concept of a flavor mashup. We were truly robbed of a Firecracker Pop Gatorade.
