The renewal price of €79.99 seems steep for a plan limited to one device. Standard is most meaningful for those who want to combine antivirus with VPN without protecting an entire household.

Norton 360 Deluxe

Norton 360 Deluxe covers five computers, smartphones or tablets. The plan includes the VPN, 50 GB cloud backup on PC, Dark Web Monitoring, and Norton Family.

This is the most balanced subscription for a small family. Its parental controls let you track browsing, searches, and screen time, though capabilities vary significantly between Windows, Android, and iOS.

Norton 360 Advanced

Norton 360 Advanced safeguards up to ten devices and provides 200 GB of cloud storage. It also includes the Protection against Scams Pro, capable of analyzing calls and emails in addition to the web, SMS, and deepfake videos.

The full package adds Dark Web Monitoring with Social Media Monitoring, help in case of a stolen wallet, and assistance to restore your identity after a breach. While launch pricing remains very low for ten devices, renewal at €139.99 calls for careful consideration.

Norton 360: First Steps

After purchasing a Norton 360 subscription, you must log in to the account that made the purchase on My Norton, Norton 360’s web console. In it, a simple click on the “Download” button provides the software to install on your Windows or Mac device. This console has merit, but you shouldn’t expect the same level of functionality as Kaspersky or Bitdefender, at least in terms of managing the solutions. Besides showing the status of each client, you can simply initiate installation on other devices via a link or a QR Code and manage licenses. For Android or iOS apps, you can download them from their respective app stores and sign in to your account to enjoy the antivirus on your device. No remote online administration to launch a scan or run updates is available.

Norton LifeLock compensates with an excellent mobile app for Android devices. Norton Mobile Security is one of the best antivirus solutions for Google’s OS, featuring a clear interface and well-thought-out capabilities, such as App Advisor that overlays the Google Play Store to provide live safety information about the app before installation. We also appreciate the privacy report that assesses and analyzes data-sharing by certain apps, with the option to approve or uninstall them, again leveraging app reputation. For example, during our tests, Norton Mobile Security alerted us to data shared by WhatsApp while labeling it safe. What protection does Norton 360 provide?

Norton 360 on Windows

AV-Comparatives confirms this strong level in its Real-World Protection Test conducted from February to May 2026. Norton blocked 397 threats out of 400, a protection rate of 99.3%, with five false positives. A double-click or double-tap opens the sub-sections, making it intuitive both with a mouse and on touch devices.

The interface is somewhat more cluttered than ideal, with menus that feel overloaded the moment you start poking around. It would be nice to streamline to prevent novices from needing to dig through multiple layers. Norton does, however, allow more actions directly from My Norton, which is a plus, though a more cohesive single entry point would be preferable.

Conclusion and Verdict

Let’s not beat around the bush: Norton 360 hasn’t really moved much in recent months, so this verdict won’t surprise anyone. The only genuinely new feature is the addition of Dark Web credential monitoring, a clear trend this year and welcome since we consistently underestimate how many credentials circulate in the wild. Otherwise, we’re looking at a status quo that, in itself, isn’t problematic because Norton 360 remains a strong all-in-one security solution for the general public. The protection is very effective, albeit a bit aggressive to avoid false positives, the impact on Windows performance remains minimal, and the unlimited VPN remains a valuable asset, even if others have caught up.
