Top 6 Costco Buys for September

Food

I’m narrowing down what this monthly Costco roundup should spotlight. There are a few snacks that slip through the cracks of our weekly “what’s new” hauls, so this is a chance to catch up—on fresh loves, the items we gave a second chance, or simply a moment for me to ramble about something I spotted that looked pretty neat. I’ll never pass up a chance to ramble. Here are six items I’m absolutely excited to purchase at Costco in September.

La Menorquina Dubai Ice Cream Sandwiches

As you become a Costco aficionado like I am, you end up chatting with nearly everyone about Costco. You quickly discover who holds a membership and who’s borrowing one. Then the big question arises. “What’s your favorite thing to snag at Costco?” Sadly, due to how we cover Costco, I end up tucking away a find like this for a month. The Dubai ice cream sandwiches haven’t been new in a while, but a friend still swears by them, so here we are.

JonnyPops Sour Blue Raspberry Splash Pops

We’re currently smack in the middle of the Minnesota State Fair. There are a thousand food options I’d love to share from the festivities, but most of them don’t travel well. There is, however, one Minnesota-based brand whose products somehow make their way into Costco, and you, the readers, can grab JonnyPops sour blue raspberry splash pops at Costco and discover what all the buzz is about.

Maitre Pierre Provencal Flat Bread

Frozen pizzas from Costco are iconic. Rightfully so. They’re unbeatable for bulk meals and quick dinners. Frozen pizzas can feel a little basic at times, which is likely why Costco decided to add this flatbread to the lineup. The ingredients go beyond a conventional pie—creme fraiche, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, goat cheese, and Provençal herbs. Fancy enough to feel special!

Kokoro Classic Egg Grilled Musubi

If you want to assemble musubi from scratch, I won’t stop you. In truth, it isn’t too difficult, but it does dirty up more dishes than I’d like when I’m cooking for one and there’s no one around to help with cleanup. Pulling an egg-grilled musubi straight from a bag I grabbed at Costco is infinitely easier, so I’ll go with that route.

Petit Pot Mango Tapioca Pudding

My absolute favorite things at Costco are these little dessert cups that rotate flavors regularly. The September flavor is mango tapioca, and while it might have been nicer in the heat of summer, we’ll manage. This way you can still pretend you’re on a beach while you’re pulling your sweaters out of storage.

Lark Ellen Farm Organic Lemon Blueberry Sprouted Granola

While this one might seem like a seasonal timing mismatch, the oversight is on me. This lemon blueberry sprouted granola has actually been available for a few months, and we should have featured it in a weekly haul already. Sometimes life gets busy! So now that we’re finally talking about it, here’s something you can grab to cling to the last days of summer.
