This rising energy-drink label isn’t alone in chasing the nostalgic magic of the classic Good Humor bar, but it could wind up among the strongest contenders. Pros: I’m genuinely impressed by how effectively this zero-sugar energy drink mimics the fruity, creamy richness of a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. Bloom delivers a well-balanced blend of artificial sweeteners for those who are sensitive to lingering aftertastes. If you’re chasing a true “dessert” energy drink, this one sits firmly among the top tier.

Cons: Friends, comparing flavors is a joy thief. I gave Bloom’s Glacier Crush Energy an 8/10 in my initial write-up last year. Since then, that flavor has grown on me so much that it earned a spot in my Top 5 Energy Drinks of 2025. I do enjoy Bloom’s Strawberry Shortie Energy… just not as much as Glacier Crush. Nevertheless, this drink clearly warrants more than a 7.5.

With that in mind, think of this as a double-entry review. Going forward, I’m formally rating Bloom’s Glacier Crush Energy at a solid 9/10. Don’t worry, I’ll settle all of this in a future update to our “Every Bloom Ranked” piece.
