The Autumn Berry profile blends pomegranate, orange, and peach notes with a berry topping to capture the juicy, rich essence of in-season fruit, and it’s offered as a lemonade, a Rebel Energy Drink, or a Myst Energy Refresher.

Pros — After what feels like years of repetitive fall flavors, we’ve been urging major coffee chains to bring something new to the table. And the refreshment category has been itching for a similar reinvention! We’ve grown tired of the same strawberry, mango, and dragon fruit options filling the landscape, and Dutch Bros finally delivered something that makes stepping out for a new refresher worthwhile.
The truth is, all fruit-forward drinks are inherently refreshing, so we wanted to see some distinctive fruit profiles entering the refresher lineup. Especially with the seasonal introduction of pomegranate, Dutch Bros has delivered exactly that. Yet beyond the novelty of a new flavor, it also had to taste great and harmonize with the other ingredients it accompanies. Fortunately, the execution is exemplary. It’s one thing for a concept to sound exciting and tasty; it’s another entirely when every sip actually lives up to that promise.
The blend of pomegranate, peach, and orange comes together with finesse, creating a profile that’s complex enough to be fruity and delectable while avoiding a perpetual “summer” vibe. The berry topping—often treated as a secondary note in a refresher—was delightful and elegantly integrated. In practice, it contributed to a well-rounded, full-bodied flavor. Cons — It’s quite challenging to find downsides with this drink given how well it’s executed. However, if that level of sweetness aligns with your preferences for these drinks, you should definitely give this new flavor a try. We’ll be savoring as many as possible this season and it’ll be missed when it eventually leaves the lineup.
