Wybot is a relatively young brand in the pool-robot market. The Wybot S2V is the manufacturer’s flagship pool robot. This model, with a V for Vision, includes an AI-powered camera to identify dirty zones in a pool and prioritize targeting them, rather than draining its battery by cleaning the entire pool at random. So, how does it perform? We tested it; here is our verdict in this review.

Design and Provided Accessories
The Wybot S2V keeps the compact footprint seen across the rest of the lineup. No more oversized, bulky pool robots. At only 8.5 kilograms, this pool-cleaning robot aims to be light and unobtrusive.
On each side of the device lie sensors that help the robot locate itself relative to the pool walls. But the most interesting feature on this S2V version is its forward camera. Centered and directed toward the floor, it examines the pool’s condition and identifies zones to prioritize for cleaning.
Under the unit, you’ll naturally find two rubber brushes to scrub the pool floor. As usual, the robot moves on two tracks. Placed along the sides of the device, they give the unit a wider stance.
On the top panel you’ll find the start button along with the various cleaning modes. In fact, the Wybot S2V can clean almost your entire pool. If it doesn’t skim the surface, it will nonetheless take care of the floor and the edges.

Cleaning performance and features
Obviously, the camera is the main selling point of the S2V. Thanks to it, the robot real-time identifies areas where debris accumulates and adjusts its path to address them first. This operation is more efficient than simply following a fixed route. In our test basin, with some residues on the bottom, the robot indeed spent more time on the dirtiest zones before switching to a more conventional cleaning of the rest of the bottom. The behavior resembles that of the Aiper Scuba V3, another robot we had tested previously.
Bien évidemment, this pool-cleaning robot also offers edge cleaning. It climbs up and down to leave no impurity behind. However, it isn’t a surface-skimming surfer like the Dreame J1, so it does not skim the pool surface.
The filtration relies on a dual system, with a 180-micron basket for large debris and a 25-micron cotton foam for the finest particles, all within a 3.8-liter capacity that reduces trips to empty the filter. The operation is highly effective.
On the app side, there are full-cleaning, Turbo, and Eco modes to extend battery life.
Regarding the battery, the Wybot S2V is equipped with a 7,900 mAh lithium-ion cell that can run up to 3 hours 30 minutes in continuous operation. In a 100 square meter pool, the robot used 52% of its battery in 1 hour 40 minutes of cleaning. On recharge, plan roughly three hours.

The Wybot S2V confirms that the AI camera is no longer a gimmick reserved for a handful of top-end devices. By intelligently targeting dirty zones rather than following a predefined path, the robot gains real-world efficiency and reduces time spent on already-clean areas. In real-world use, this yields a time saving, even as the unit runs autonomously.
The mechanical side is no slouch either, with convincing suction on both floors and walls, a fine filtration that cleans the water with notable efficiency from the first pass. Moreover, compatibility with all pool shapes is a real plus. The Wybot app’s programming adds a layer of comfort that effectively frees you from pool maintenance for a good portion of the week.
The pricing, however, places the S2V in the brand’s premium segment, well away from entry-level models. But given its versatility and the relevance of camera-based detection, the investment is justified for those who own a medium-to-large pool and want to delegate cleaning to a machine.
